Scan 5: 4 March

Meeting #5. Check-up #4.

Patch has decided to show his face today by facing belly-up. He had his hands together in front of him and we could make out his eyes, nose and mouth. We could even see his little fingers when he stretched them out!

Patch measures 78mm which is supposedly in line with his age of 13w5d. So... in one week, Patch grew 5mm while I put on.... 800g! Gah!

We also asked the doc if we could tell the baby's gender at this point in time and she said "Let's see". We saw Patch's legs and his little feet, one of which was conveniently blocking our view. But he was fairly coorperative (and active), and he moved his foot away a few seconds later.

The verdict? "Looks like something's there. Might be a boy! We'll confirm at the next check up" Says the doc.

So that adorable pink Ralph Lauren polo dress I've been eyeing might have to wait. Heh heh.

Next check up: 1 April. Hope Patch is not shy but cooperative! :)
