Have booked the flight to Melbourne via Qantas liao. Strangely enough, SIA taxes/surcharges are higher than Qantas.
Qantas: $520 + $266 = $786
SIA: $600 + $292 = $892
You would think the extra charges would be the same.
Free stopover have to be used during this trip but since we have already booked our domestic flight to Hobart, we can't go. Apparently you can't get the free stopover if you book online either. So silly. The newspaper ad never mention that, urge people to go online to book some more. And nowhere in the website is it stated during the booking process. I had to click around before I noticed it (in fine print, on some obscure page).
Yeesh.
